The opening montages for Soda Popinski from Punch-Out!! His skin still has a pink tint to it like in the original game. I also wonder what kind of soda he drinks that gives him superhuman strength and lets him get up immediately...

Soda Popinski follows a pattern at first. He throws two hooks that can be ducked and then two uppercuts that can be dodged before going back to hooks. After that, he will pull out a soda bottle and wave it in your face. If you let him drink, it'll restore a big chunk of his stamina. Punch the bottle out of his hand to get a star. However, he'll then deliver a combo of uppercuts, anywhere from three to six. The uppercut combo comes after every time you knock him down, hit him with a star punch, or hit the bottle out of his hand.

On Title Defense, Soda Popinski is pretty much the same, just being a little faster. (The radioactive soda does little to help him.) Again, duck to dodge the hooks and dodge left or right for the uppercuts. During cutscenes, Soda will be drinking and if you let it go on, it'll restore a lot of his stamina.

His theme song is pretty awesome. People say that "there is nothing more Russian than a male chorus." They also say that "In Soviet Russia, Punch-Out!! plays YOU!"
